GuessElement is a free educational website that does not require user registration. You can play the quiz without providing a name, school, account, or payment information. The game stores a small amount of information in your browser so that basic features work.
Information stored on your device
The quiz uses browser storage rather than an online user profile:
- Local storage remembers your personal high score and a dated visit count on that browser.
- Session storage prevents the visit count from increasing each time the same tab is refreshed during a session.
This information stays in your browser unless browser settings, extensions, synchronization features, or your device provider handle it differently. You can remove it by clearing site data for guesselement.com. Blocking browser storage may prevent the high score and local visit counter from working, but the core quiz should remain available.
Technical data and hosting logs
Like most websites, the hosting provider and content-delivery services may automatically receive technical information needed to deliver and secure the site. This can include an IP address, browser type, device type, requested page, date and time, referring page, and diagnostic or security events. Retention and handling by the hosting provider depend on the provider configured by the site operator.
Third-party resources
GuessElement loads web fonts from Google Fonts. When a browser requests these files, Google may receive technical request information such as an IP address and browser details. External links are governed by the privacy policies of their destination sites.
Google advertising and cookies
